"This world is full of conflicts and full of things that cannot be reconciled. But there are moments when we can reconcile and embrace the whole mess, and that's what I mean by Hallelujah" (Leonard Cohen).
It's with great joy that I share our 'Hallelujah' with you. A special thank you to Nancy Harms for joining the musical journey of Sole Music Collective's #Herspective video series, Jenn Rose for her direction, vision and guidance behind the camera, Richard Padrón for capturing our sound, Valeria Kole for physically manifesting our inner beauty, both Gal Sonnenfeld and Jane Irving for their on-set support and David Nipps for his behind the scenes support. And of course, a gracious recognition of Leonard Cohen, who brought this hauntingly beautiful song into the world.
Sole Music Collective is percussive dance at its finest, music for the soul created by the soles of the feet, and home to the #Herspective video web series that highlights women in music as we come together to collaborate and recreate our favorite music. Today, we release our second video in the series, a cover of Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah' featuring my bare feet tap dancing with internationally renowned vocalist Nancy Harms.
